How to Set Up IPTV on Formuler

Formuler's Z-series boxes (Z8, Z10, Z11 and variants) are built specifically for IPTV: the MYTVOnline app, the remote with dedicated guide keys, the instant channel zapping — it's the closest thing to a "proper telly box" experience IPTV has. Setup takes about five minutes.

Step 1: Connect and update

1. Connect the box to your TV via HDMI and to your network — Ethernet if at all possible; these boxes deserve a wired connection.
2. Run through the first-boot setup (language, network, time zone — choose Europe/London).
3. Accept any offered MYTVOnline update before going further; playlist handling improves version to version.

Step 2: Add your Nexlivo subscription in MYTVOnline

1. Open MYTVOnline from the home screen.
2. Choose to add a connection. MYTVOnline accepts both portal and Xtream/M3U-style logins — use whichever your welcome message provides.
3. Enter the details exactly as sent — server address first, then username and password where prompted. A USB keyboard plugged into the box makes this painless if you have one nearby.
4. Name the connection ("Nexlivo") and confirm.

Step 3: Import and watch

MYTVOnline imports the channel list and downloads the programme guide — first run takes a minute or two. After that:

• The GUIDE key opens the EPG grid directly.
• Number keys jump straight to channels, old-school style.
• Favourites and channel groups are managed from the channel list menu — worth two minutes of setup for years of quicker browsing.
